I am proud to announce my run for the Buncombe County Board of Commissioners in District 116.
Having the honor of serving our community as a member of the Buncombe County Board of Adjustments, the Buncombe County Schools Advisory Council and as a current member of the Buncombe County Planning Board has been a rewarding experience for me. I strive to bring the voice of the community and my experience to the table for the good of all its citizens.

I plan to work hard to keep and create more jobs here in Buncombe County. I feel by focusing on supporting our public schools, small businesses, entrepreneurs and helping our returning Veterans we can ensure Buncombe County’s continued success in the years to come.
With a 12 year old daughter attending Enka Middle School, I know how important strong schools and public education are to our community. I will continue to support public education and teachers here in Buncombe County.
My past work experience includes working on a family farm, hotel and restaurant management, banking, real estate, construction as well as owning and operating a small business for over 13 years. I have developed personal and professional relationships that have allowed me to acquire a deep understanding of what it takes to persevere through good times and bad. My diverse background gives me the ability to recognize help to address the needs of many different working people and industries here in Buncombe County.
As a special projects contractor working for the Veterans Administration, I was able to help our Veterans across 19 different hospitals. I understand the challenges facing our returning Veterans and the support systems they will need when they return home.
I was born and raised in North Carolina and after graduating from Enka High in 1988, I chose to stay in the mountains close to the family I love. I would be honored to have your support and will strive to be a County Commissioner who listens and speaks for all the citizens of Buncombe County.
